Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shannon Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Mahoney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Collins comes to the cage accompanied by Icky Thump. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dick Mahoney was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dick Mahoney!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins circles away from the clinch attempt.
A big left from Collins misses.
Collins throws a right hand that misses
enabling Mahoney to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Shannon Collins has been cut.
Collins misses with a body shot.
Collins throws a body punch but Mahoney moves out of range.
Collins misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Mahoney counters with a head kick that drops Collins to the mat! Collins scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Mahoney cracks Collins with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Collins tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mahoney pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Collins is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dick Mahoney!
