The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammouche slips a jab from dAnconia.
A big left from Hammouche misses.
dAnconia drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nice uppercut lands for Hammouche. That snapped dAnconia's head back.

dAnconia throws a nice looking combination but Hammouche bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hammouche or perhaps it was just good defense by dAnconia, which made it look bad.
dAnconia feinted with a counter takedown.

dAnconia buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Hammouche lunges in with a left hook that violently twists dAnconia head around and knocks him out cold! Hammouche hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Djamel Hammouche!
Djamel Hammouche was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Francisco dAnconia spoke after the fight, saying 'Who is John Galt?'.
