These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Messi gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Marionett tries to break free but Messi pushes him back against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Messi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Marionett is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Messi is defending well.

Messi creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Marionett's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Marionett drops to his knees and Messi pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A very excited looking Leonel Messi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
