The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gharibi looks to land a combination but Reem avoids it well.
Reem blocks a jab.
A little feinted left hand from Reem on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Reem has taken the fight to the clinch.

Gharibi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

It looked like Reem was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Gharibi.
Gharibi misses with a hook. Reem ducked under it nicely.
Gharibi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sajjad Gharibi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Reem counters by clinching up.
