The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vrasi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nerlinger moves away.

Nerlinger fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vrasi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Vrasi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nerlinger has time to react.

Vrasi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nerlinger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vrasi has managed to get both his arms back between Nerlinger's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
