With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesse McGulloch!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Business scores with a punch to the head.
Business scores with a nice strike.
McGulloch looks for the body kick but Business saw that one coming.
Business looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Business forces McGulloch back against the cage and clinches.

Business breaks the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Business is defended easily by McGulloch.
McGulloch is trying to counter with his kicks.
McGulloch tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Business blocks a head kick by McGulloch.
McGulloch throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
McGulloch looks to land a body kick but Business moved away.
Business takes one on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGulloch throws a lazy right hand but Business sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Business drives through and clinches with McGulloch against the cage.
Business tries to pull guard but McGulloch holds him up against the cage and eventually Business drops back down to his feet.

Business blocks an uppercut.
The referee is keeping an eye on McGulloch - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Business fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monkey Business. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Business blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Business has McGulloch pushed against the cage.
McGulloch trying to stall but Business improves his position.

Business breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No joy there for McGulloch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Business was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Business seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Business has McGulloch up against the cage in a clinch.
Business slows down the pace here.

Business gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Business pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Business blocks a head kick by McGulloch.
Business ducks under a wild hook from McGulloch.
Business tries to counter by moving into the clinch but McGulloch manages to circle out of the way.
Business thuds a left hand into McGulloch's body.
Nice body punch from McGulloch.
Business lands a nice looking body shot.
McGulloch connects with a body shot that sends Business's belly button to the back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McGulloch circles away from the clinch attempt.

Business looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
McGulloch tries to get to full guard but Business has control of the leg.
Business stops McGulloch from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Business is looking for a kimura but McGulloch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Business to get the leverage.
Business wants to free his trapped foot but McGulloch is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Business looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Business is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Business throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McGulloch wants to improve his position but Business is controlling well.

Business wants to work for an arm triangle but McGulloch is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

McGulloch manages to escape and get back to his feet!
McGulloch takes a swing at Business's ribcage but misses.
Business listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Business throws a nice looking combination but McGulloch bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McGulloch misses with a head kick.
McGulloch goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Monkey Business has been cut.
McGulloch misses with a hook. Business ducked under it nicely.
McGulloch throws a push kick but Business slaps the foot to one side.
McGulloch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Business forces McGulloch back against the cage and clinches.
McGulloch struggles to land a body shot inside as Business controls his hands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Monkey Business will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Monkey Business's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Business avoids a kick to the body.
McGulloch takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nice uppercut lands for McGulloch. That snapped Business's head back.
McGulloch throws a head kick but Business moves out of range.
Business throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jesse McGulloch seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Business takes one to the side of the head.
Monkey Business seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Business wants to clinch.
Business cracks McGulloch with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


McGulloch is rocked!
Business throws an overhand right that has McGulloch reeling! Business follows up with more punches and McGulloch is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Monkey Business!
Monkey Business decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
In defeat, Jesse McGulloch stepped up to the mic, saying 'You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance!'.
