Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gracie Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Gold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gracie Allen!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold throws a series of punches but Allen moves out of range.
Gold on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gold fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Allen checks it well.

Gold closes the distance and pushes Allen back into the cage.
Allen misses with a short punch on the inside.
Gold goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gold blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Allen tries to throw a body punch but Gold avoids it by throwing Allen back against the cage.

Allen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Allen manages to end up in side control.
Gold is trying to get back to half guard.
Allen staying calm.

Gold is pressing down on Allen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gold is on top in guard.

Allen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gold postures up in Allen's guard and throws a big left but Allen blocks it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Allen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gold is landing a low percentage of strikes.

We've been told by Gold's head coaches at Blackstar Striking Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Allen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Allen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gold. Gold circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Allen lands a really nice looking cross but Gold seems unphased.
Gold looks to land a left hand but Allen moved out of range nicely.
A head kick misses from Allen.
Allen takes one to the chin there.
Allen cracks Gold with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Gracie Allen has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Allen swings for the body but Gold moves out of range.

Allen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gold.

Gracie Allen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gold throws the left hand but Allen avoids the punch easily.
Allen throws a leg kick but Gold moved away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gold. Allen does a little dance to reset his feet.

Gold pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Allen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gold fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Gold has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Allen.

and Allen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gold tries to clinch but Allen moves out of range.
Allen tries to score with a low kick but Gold moves his leg out of the way.
Allen lands a nice shot that snaps Gold's head back.
Gold feints a jab promting Allen to slip. Gold then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Allen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Allen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Allen rushes Gold and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Allen lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Gold breaks from the clinch.
Allen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Allen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Allen throws a chopping leg kick but Gold manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Gold misses with a wild combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Gold darts in and clinches Allen up against the cage.
Gold swings wildly with an uppercut but Allen uses good head movement to avoid it.

Allen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gold scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gold misses with a looping right.
Jack Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen connects with a single shot there.
Gold shoots in for a takedown but Allen shows good takedown defense.
Allen lands with a cross.
Gold throws a hook but Allen avoids it easily.
Allen scores with a decent looking hook.


Gold is rocked!
Gold throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Allen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gold takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oh Gold is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gold misses with a right hand
and Allen counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

An out of breath Gracie Allen thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
