Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Heimo Haba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mee Vattalles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haba swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Heimo Haba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Haba looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Haba has managed to clinch.
Haba tries to throw a body punch but Vattalles avoids it by throwing Haba back against the cage.
Haba works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Vattalles takes an elbow to the temple.
Haba misses with a knee strike.

Vattalles ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Vattalles no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haba wants to get up but he can't break Vattalles's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Vattalles pulls Haba in to control the position.
Vattalles manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Haba manages to get himself to full guard.

Vattalles is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haba pushes Vattalles off looking to stand but Vattalles dives back in and keeps control.

Vattalles is looking for a kimura but Haba is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Vattalles to get the leverage.

Vattalles is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
