The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmagomedov leaves Hamburger with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hamburger is not content to let Nurmagomedov control the position.
Hamburger is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nurmagomedov connects with a decent elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nurmagomedov is looking to take a break and control but Hamburger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hamburger is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hamburger throwing shots but Nurmagomedov is blocking nicely.

Hamburger uses his free foot to push down on Nurmagomedov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nurmagomedov.

Nurmagomedov has his hands clasped together but Hamburger extends and breaks Nurmagomedov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hamburger.
