The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takiama looking to score a takedown here. Ortega is defending well but Takiama drives through and ends up in Ortega's guard.

Takiama passes Ortega's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Takiama is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ortega is just riding it out for now. Takiama eventually gives up the hold.
Takiama is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ortega!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Takiama throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Ortega has his hands clasped together but Takiama breaks the hold and Ortega is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Takiama!
