The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sachz avoids the body shot from Sato.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sato. Sachz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sachz tries to counter with a takedown but Sato is quick to defend against it.

It looks like Harry Sachz has been cut.
Sachz just misses with a punch to the body.

Sato walks into a jab.
Sato scores with a nice right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sato looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sato throws a body punch but Sachz moves out of range.

A telegraphed right hand from Sato misses the target.
Sato looks to throw the jab but Sachz is out of range.
Sachz appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Sato displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sachz.
Sato feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sachzs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Sachz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sato as he jumps to the side.
Sato looks to land a right hand but Sachz moved out of range.
Ryosuke Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sato misses with an uppercut. Sachz saw that one coming.
Sachz closes the distance and clinches up with Sato, looking for a takedown. Sachz pushes Sato against the cage but Sato circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Sachz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sachz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sachz changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Oh Sachz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sachz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sato steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sachz.
Sato dances in with a quick combination. Sachz is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Sato snaps Sachz's head back. Sachz stumbles backwards against the cage. Sato steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Sachz's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Sachz just didn't come prepared.
