The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Wright. Pacquiao does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pacquiao loads up on a big right hand but Wright slips the punch.
Wright has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Pacquiao moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Manny Pacquiao has been cut.
Pacquiao throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pacquiao moves out of range as Wright strikes.
Pacquiao is looking to counter the offense by Wright and move into the clinch.
Pacquiao misses with an uppercut
and Wright counters with a stiff right hand.
Pacquiao shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wright eats them both and turns towards Pacquiao to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Ira Wright has been cut.
Pacquiao throws a nice looking combination but Wright bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wright looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Pacquiao misses with a left hand
and Wright counters with a straight right hand.
Pacquiao is rocked!
Wright misses with a hook. Pacquiao ducked under it nicely.
Oh Pacquiao is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pacquiao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pacquiao falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Wright counter with a right hand.
Wright keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pacquiao.
Pacquiao is aggressively charging in as Wright backs up avoiding any damage. Wright tosses out a jab and Pacquiao runs right into it face first! Pacquiao is out cold! Wright dropped down on all fours and is barking in Pacquiao's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ira Wright! Ira Wright retains his welterweight title!
