The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas slips under a jab.
A counter left hand to the body from Thomas misses its target.
Thomas goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Johnny Jacobi has been cut.
Jacobi misses with a double jab.
Thomas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jacobi at a distance.
Thomas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jacobis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Thomas throws out a powerful jab.
Jacobi throws a combination that misses
and Thomas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Jacobi is rocked!
Jacobi missing with a left hand there. Thomas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jacobi has his takedown stuffed

and Thomas counters with a nice right hand that sends Jacobi toppling to the canvas! Jacobi scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Thomas finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jacobi is aggressively charging in as Thomas backs up avoiding any damage. Thomas tosses out a jab and Jacobi runs right into it face first! Jacobi is out cold! Thomas dropped down on all fours and is barking in Jacobi's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
