The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laston looks to land a combination but Kasvi avoids it well.
Good exchange - Kasvi coming out on top.
Kasvi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kasvi jabs at Laston's body.

Laston has closed the distance and engaged Kasvi in a clinch.
Laston misses with a hook to the ribs.
Laston misses with a punch to the body.
Laston throws a punch but it's blocked by Kasvi.

Kasvi breaks from the clinch.
Laston tries to clinch
and Kasvi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kasvi connects with a crisp jab.
Laston stuffs the takedown attempt from Kasvi. Kasvi gets slowly back to his feet.
Kasvi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Laston has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Laston tries to clinch but Kasvi moves out of range.

Kasvi lands with a hook. Laston tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jyrki Kasvi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kasvi!
Kasvi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Laston is rocked!
Laston glances at the clock... BAM! Kasvi nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Laston crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Laston is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

A relieved looking Jyrki Kasvi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
