The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcintyre throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dimov's waist but Dimov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mcintyre off to one side.
Dimov misses with a looping left.
Dimov throws a series of punches but Mcintyre moves out of range.

Dimov drives through with a takedown into Mcintyre's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Mcintyre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dimov on the ground.
Dimov passes Mcintyre's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Dimov seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dimov lands a nice short elbow.

Mcintyre could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Dimov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mcintyre knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Mcintyre tries to roll over but Dimov keeps him under control.
Dimov slips a nice elbow through Mcintyre's hands, connecting with Mcintyre's forehead.
Dimov is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Mcintyre is hurt! He's hurt bad - Dimov fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Mcintyre from any more punishment! Congratulations to Dimov! Great finish!
