Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Zuev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zuev throws a lazy uppercut
letting Holm counter with a right hand.

It looks like Konstantin Zuev has been cut.
Zuev pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A little jabbing left from Holm on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Zuev waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Holm.
Konstantin Zuev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zuev misses with an uppercut. Holm saw that one coming.
Zuev throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Holm looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Zuev feints a jab promting Holm to slip. Zuev then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Holm slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Zuev swings away with a body shot that misses
and Holm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Zuev blocks a jab.
Zuev throws a hook but Holm avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Holm! But no joy.
Zuev swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Holm looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Zuev throws out a loose jab but Holm uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zuev lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Holm ducks under a wild hook from Zuev .

Zuev throws a jab when Holm was well out of range.
Zuev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Zuev tests Holm's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Zuev fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Zuev misses with a hook. Holm ducked under it nicely.
Holm looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Holm takes one to the side of the head.
Zuev swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zuev scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Holm doesn't seem bothered though.
Holm closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Zuev throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Holm walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Zuev lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Zuev throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Holm connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zuev misses with a series of wild punches.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Holm looks to throw the jab but Zuev is out of range.
Zuev scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Zuev throws the left hand but Holm avoids the punch easily.
Zuev paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A decent looking cross lands there for Zuev .
Zuev throws a left and a right that both miss

and Holm counters with a crisp right hand that drops Zuev ! Holm lets Zuev back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Zuev is rocked!
Zuev looks to land a left hand but Holm moved out of range nicely.
Oh Zuev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Holm avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Holm swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Zuev swings widly with a right hand
and Holm counters with a right hand from hell and Zuev is out cold! A vicious knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Martin Holm!
After the fight, Martin Holm was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
