Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Goulet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Condit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Condit is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Condit moves into the clinch successfully.
Goulet is looking to break free of the clinch but Condit has double underhooks.
Condit looking for a takedown.
Goulet wants a takedown but no success here.
Goulet is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Condit gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Goulet throws an elbow that misses.

Condit manages to pull guard.
Goulet wanted to stand there but Condit had control of the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Condit wants to sweep but no luck.

Condit has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Goulet has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Goulet postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Goulet will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Goulet would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Goulet seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Condit darts in and clinches Goulet up against the cage.

Goulet is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Condit is keeping busy.

Condit pulls guard successfully.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Goulet.
Condit throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Condit changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goulet tries to avoid it but Condit manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goulet to the ground. Goulet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Condit counters with a crisp one two that drops Goulet! Condit thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Goulet to his feet! Goulet is in big trouble!

Goulet is rocked!
Goulet is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Condit Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Goulet is out cold, face down on the mat!
