The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grouch throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mumba.

It looks like Egek Mumba has been cut.
Grouch throws a leg kick that misses.
It seemed like Mumba was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mumba lands a nice hook to Grouch's body. Grouch takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mumba scores with a jab.

Grouch lands a head kick that bluckles Mumba and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Grouch no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Grouch looks to land a left hand but Mumba moved out of range nicely.
Mumba walks forward, straight into a front kick from Grouch.
Grouch circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mumba keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mumba misses with a right hand
and Grouch counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Grouch ducks under a wild hook from Mumba.
Mumba looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've been informed that Mumba has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Mumba swings widly with a right hand
and Grouch counters with a nice kick to the body.
Grouch throws a body shot but no joy.
Grouch misses with an attempted mid kick.
Mumba walks forward, straight into a front kick from Grouch.
Rosco Grouch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mumba looks winded!
Grouch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mumba moves away.
Mumba tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Grouch makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mumba really felt that one!
Mumba misses with a left hand
and Grouch counters with a thumping low kick.
Grouch looks to score with a jab to the body but Mumba is just out of range.

Grouch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Grouch looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mumba takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That has opened up Egek Mumba's cut even more.
Mumba misses with a double jab
and Grouch counters with a nice body kick.

Grouch lands a front kick to the face, that drops Mumba to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mumba on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Grouch lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mumba takes a step back to recover.
Mumba has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Grouch.
Grouch connects with an inside leg kick.

Grouch keeps Mumba at a distance using the push kick.

Grouch catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Mumba stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Mumba walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

The cut above Egek Mumba's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Grouch throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Grouch.

Mumba ducks into a a hook from Grouch and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!

Egek Mumba's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Grouch throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Grouch cracks the inside of Mumba's front leg.

Grouch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mumba tries to clinch
and Grouch counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Mumba is out cold! A devastating KO!
