Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raylan Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele comes to the cage accompanied by "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Power moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Power has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
The fighters circle momentarily. Steele darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Steele is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Steele loads up on a big right hand but Power slips the punch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steele throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Power stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Steele keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Steele bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Power's head backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Steele is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Power might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Steele has got the better of the exchanges.

Power is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Power shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steele pinned against the cage. Steele gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Power is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Steele feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Powers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Power counters with a nice double leg into side control. Steele won't be happy with that.

Steele takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Power wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steele keeps working.
Power working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Steele is not content to let Power control the position.
Power might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Steele haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Power misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Power tries to advance to mount but can't.
Max Power has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Power is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Steele is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Power takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Steele is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Power tries for a kimura but Steele is defending well.
Power has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Power thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Power is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Steele has escaped the position, nice work there.
Power misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Steele can't do much from the bottom here.

Raylan Steele is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Power swings around for an armbar but Steele sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Power's guard.

Power is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Max Power has got the better of the ground game so far.

I would just about give that final round to Max Power.
