Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Jangles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the ring accompanied by Stop (Blue Mix) - Ghost K. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a push kick but Jangles slaps the foot to one side.
Nice shot lands for Silva.
Jangles scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jangles takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Silva missing with a left hand there. Jangles was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jangles chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Silva can pounce on him.
Jangles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Silva throws a jab when Jangles was well out of range.
Jangles throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head.
It looks like Eduardo Silva has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jangles throws a chopping leg kick but Silva manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Silva thuds a left hand into Jangles's body.
Jangles throws a head kick that Silva semi-blocks.

Silva throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jangles on the side of the head.

As Jangles backs away, Silva returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Jangles throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jangles feints and then cracks Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silva down.
Jangles does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jangles moves away from the strike by Silva.
Jangles fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jangles throws a leg kick which misses Silva's front leg but catches the back leg as Silva tries to avoid it.

Silva throws a lazy right hand but Jangles sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jangles.

Silva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jangless jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jangles, as that shot connected.

and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That has opened up Lester Jangles's cut even more.
A slow jab from Jangles misses its intended target.

and Jangles counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Silva is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva throws the left hand but Jangles avoids the punch easily.
Jangles wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've been told by Silva's head coaches at Touch-butt with that dork in the park that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Jangles throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Silva has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silva there as he acknowledges the shot.

Silva takes a jab right on the kisser.
Silva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

The cut above Lester Jangles's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Silva takes a swing at Jangles's ribcage but misses.

Lester Jangles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jangles swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Jangles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jangles throws a leg kick
and Silva counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Jangles lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Both fighters circling a little - Jangles finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jangles takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Jangles throws a leg kick but Silva checks it.

Jangles misses with a series of wild punches.
Jangles ducks right into an uppercut from Silva.
Jangles has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Silva lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jangles has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jangles and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Silva counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jangles thinking.

Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jangles fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jangles has time to react.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jangles. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Jangles in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Lester Jangles's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Jangles needs to keep his hands up - Silva had a free shot at his head there.

Jangles tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jangles looks to throw a body kick
and Silva counters with a slapping leg kick.
Silva takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jangles's head.
Jangles lands with a kick to the ribs.

Jangles throws a body shot but no joy.
Jangles on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Eduardo Silva!
After the fight, Eduardo Silva was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
