Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jasper Pulis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Gus McKenna!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenna fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Pulis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McKenna. McKenna obviously looking to wear him down.
Pulis throws a hook but McKenna blocks it.
McKenna throws an overhand right that lands on Pulis's shoulder, as Pulis tries to avoid the shot.
Pulis tries to clinch up.

Pulis clinches up against the cage.

Pulis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pulis connects with a body shot that sends McKenna's belly button to the back.
McKenna loads up on a big right hand but Pulis slips the punch.
Pulis scores with a jab to the head.


It looks like Gus McKenna has been cut.
McKenna looks to land a right hand but Pulis moved out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Pulis on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Pulis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McKenna.
Pulis throws a shot from downtown. McKenna moves away and avoids it.
It seemed like McKenna was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Pulis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McKenna manages to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McKenna dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Pulis closes the distance and pushes McKenna back into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for McKenna.
McKenna pushes Pulis back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

McKenna manages to break the clinch.
McKenna loads up on a big right hand but Pulis slips the punch.
McKenna with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Pulis moves into the clinch.
McKenna misses with the head strike.

Pulis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McKenna needs to keep his hands up - Pulis had a free shot at his head there.
Pulis throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pulis is looking to clinch but McKenna is avoiding it.
McKenna tries a head kick but it misses.
Pulis takes a swing at McKenna's ribcage but misses.
Pulis misses the jab.
McKenna swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pulis cracks McKenna with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pulis looks to land a right hand but McKenna moved out of range.
Pulis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pulis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McKenna throws out the jab.

Pulis drops McKenna with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McKenna looks back up at him and smiles so Pulis waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


McKenna is rocked!


That has opened up Gus McKenna's cut even more.
McKenna bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pulis's head backwards.
McKenna is still on wobbly legs! Can Pulis finish him?
McKenna lands a glancing blow to the side of Pulis's head.
McKenna seems to have recovered his senses.
Pulis is looking to clinch.
McKenna blocks a jab.
McKenna looks like he wants to counter punch here.
McKenna throws a nice head kick!
Pulis swings for the body but McKenna moves out of range.
Jasper Pulis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pulis feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McKenna sprawling to the canvas! McKenna rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pulis finish him?!
McKenna scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McKenna wants to clinch.
A low kick from McKenna misses
and Pulis counters with a crisp right that sends McKenna to the canvas! Pulis follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jasper Pulis!
