Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bane Toxic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Cooper is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Toxic.
Toxic lands a body shot.
Cooper throws a body punch but Toxic moves out of range.
As Cooper tries to get set, Toxic tries to push him back and clinch up but Cooper manages to avoid the attempt.
Toxic uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooper.
Toxic half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Cooper misses with a double jab
and Toxic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Toxic cracks the inside of Cooper's front leg.
Cooper throws a series of punches but Toxic avoids them all with ease.
Cooper throws the left hand but Toxic avoids the punch easily.

Cooper looks to score with a jab to the body but Toxic is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Toxic gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Toxic manages to break the clinch.
Cooper misses with a hook. Toxic ducked under it nicely.
Cooper throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Toxic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Toxic has Cooper up against the cage in a clinch.
Cooper looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Toxic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Toxic throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Cooper connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cooper. Toxic does a little dance to reset his feet.
Toxic tries to bum rush Cooper with a series of wild strikes but Cooper uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cooper throws a shot from downtown. Toxic moves away and avoids it.
Toxic fails to land with a series of punches.
Cooper throws a jab when Toxic was well out of range.
Toxic throws a quick counter head kick but Cooper was just out of range.

Toxic drives through and clinches with Cooper against the cage.
Cooper is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Toxic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cooper scores with a decent looking hook.
Cooper missing with a left hand there. Toxic was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Cooper takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Toxic dodges the punch combination from Cooper.
Cooper lands with a nice combination. Toxic backs away looking to recover.

Toxic is rocked!
Cooper dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Toxic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Cooper has cracked Toxic with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Cooper lands another huge swinging hook and Toxic tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Toxic, before Cooper can land any more shots!
