Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waves has taken the fight to the clinch.
Acosta has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Waves is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Acosta is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Waves pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Waves pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Waves closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Acosta can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Houston Acosta. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Acosta goes for a takedown in the clinch but Waves prevents it.
Waves scores with a shot to the side of Acosta's head.
Waves working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Waves lands a shoulder strike.
Acosta wants a takedown.
A hook to the body from Waves.
Acosta drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Acosta changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Waves fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Waves clinches up with Acosta and pushes him back against the cage.

Waves wants to break the clinch but can't.
Waves lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Acosta backwards.
Acosta is rocked!
It looks like Houston Acosta has been cut.
Waves pushes Acosta against the cage. Waves is working some dirty boxing. Waves pushes off with a quick right hook! Acosta goes down! Acosta tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Waves moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
