Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gail Wilder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruno Roudin!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wilder tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Roudin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Roudin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Roudin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wilder stacks Roudin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wilder!
Roudin is trying to control Wilder's posture but Wilder avoids it.
Roudin is letting Wilder control him for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilder is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Roudin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Roudin has one of Wilder's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wilder trying to control the position but Roudin is working away.
Wilder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Roudin is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Roudin throws Wilder to one side and escapes!
Wilder fails with the takedown.
Roudin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wilder is being controlled here.
Wilder is trying to control Roudin's posture but Roudin avoids it.
Roudin cracks Wilder with a big elbow.
Roudin stands up and beckons Wilder to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wilder finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Roudin's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Wilder falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruno Roudin!
