The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrible is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Terrible is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Terrible circles away and we're back to standing.
Terrible defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson.
Terrible is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Johnson.
Johnson's coach down at ICON TOP TEAM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Johnson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Terrible is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.

Terrible clinches.
Terrible comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Terrible lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Terrible gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Terrible walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
I Am Terrible has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Johnson.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Terrible sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Terrible darts in and clinches Johnson up against the cage.

Johnson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Johnson takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Anthony Johnson has been cut.
Terrible lands an elbow just above Johnson 's eye.
Terrible lands an elbow inside that Johnson shrugs off.
Terrible lands an elbow that stopped Johnson in his tracks for a moment.

Johnson pulls guard effortlessly.
Terrible is looking to stand up but Johnson won't let him.

Johnson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Terrible frees his head nicely. Oh but Johnson has switched to an armbar! Terrible is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

A relieved looking Anthony Johnson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
