Hashimoto's entrance music is Tomoki Hasegawa - Lemon Song. A fine choice. Rock Chuck has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Takeshi Hashimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rock Chuck!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Chuck scores with a four punch combination!
Chuck shoots in for a takedown but Hashimoto shows good takedown defense.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Chuck has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hashimoto is working away from the top position though.

Chuck misses with a combination

We've been hearing that Hashimoto has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hashimoto is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Chuck is looking to improve his position but Hashimoto isn't that keen on the idea.
Hashimoto is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chuck can do to turn this around?

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Hashimoto might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Hashimoto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hashimoto's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
