And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Arroyo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arroyo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gruber has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A solid leg kick lands there for Arroyo.
Gruber takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Arroyo looks to land a combination. Gruber sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Hans Gruber has been cut.
Arroyo lands with a kick to the ribs.
Gruber is breathing heavily.
Arroyo scores with a jab.
Arroyo lands a nice looking body shot.
Arroyo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gruber steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Arroyo. That one must have hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Arroyo thows a body kick. Gruber tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Arroyo connects with an inside leg kick.
Arroyo lands with a nice body punch.
Arroyo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Gruber moves forwards but Arroyo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Arroyo throws a head kick that misses.
Arroyo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gruber at a distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Arroyo.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gruber doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gruber has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Arroyo dips to his left and cracks Gruber with an uppercut!

Hans Gruber's cut is getting worse.
Arroyo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Arroyo. Gruber shrugs it off though.
Arroyo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Arroyo.

Gruber is rocked!
Arroyo has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Arroyo is stalking Gruber. Gruber circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Arroyo, and it's lights out! Gruber really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
