With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Samuel Kravac!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Amirkhani.
Kravac shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Amirkhani to counter with a crisp jab.
Amirkhani lunges at Kravac with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kravac's hand.
Amirkhani throws a jab but it's blocked by Kravac.
Kravac doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Amirkhani counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Amirkhani looks to score with a jab to the body but Kravac is just out of range.

Kravac looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Kravac wants to work for an arm triangle but Amirkhani is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Amirkhani is refusing to be controlled, as Kravac sits in half guard.
Kravac trying to mount his opponent but Amirkhani defends it.

Amirkhani is doing well to control the position and prevent Kravac from advancing to side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kravac is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Amirkhani fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kravac manages to avoid it.
Kravac is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Kravac drops his hands momentarily and Amirkhani takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Amirkhani slaps away a takedown attempt from Kravac, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pretty Boy Amirkhani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Kravac.
Amirkhani fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kravac manages to avoid it.

and Kravac takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Amirkhani was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Amirkhani keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Amirkhani lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


Kravac is rocked!

Kravac uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Amirkhani.

and Amirkhani counters with a nice body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Amirkhani lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Kravac falls backwards - clearly groggy! Amirkhani dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pretty Boy Amirkhani!
A relieved looking Pretty Boy Amirkhani thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
