Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Renato Robles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Coughlan!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coughlan connects with a body shot.

Robles gets caught napping as Coughlan dives in and scores a takedown. Robles manages to retain guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Robles is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Robles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Coughlan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Robles moves away.
Coughlan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Robles's calf.
Coughlan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Robles sprawls well. Robles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coughlan gets slowly back to his feet.

and Robles counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Robles.

Coughlan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Coughlan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Robles is one step ahead there.

Robles gets to his feet - Coughlan follows without any prompting.

Robles shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Robles was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robles decides to stand back up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Renato Robles.
I think Robles has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
