And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hakopa scores with a jab to the body.
McGuire scores with a sloppy right hand. Hakopa should have avoided that one.
Hakopa lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hakopa takes a swing at McGuire's ribcage but misses.
Hakopa throws a hook but McGuire blocks it.
Hakopa misses the shot to the body.
Hakopa scores with a jab to the body.

McGuire clinches up with Hakopa and pushes him back against the ropes.
Hakopa tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
McGuire lands with a right to the head.
McGuire can't find room to land a body shot as Hakopa controls the action.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Hakopa.
Our sources have told us that Hakopa has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Hakopa tries to throw a body punch but McGuire avoids it by throwing Hakopa back against the ropes.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for McGuire.

McGuire escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hakopa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hakopa takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

McGuire has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGuire scores with an uppercut up the middle.
McGuire tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Hakopa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hakopa misses the shot to the body.
Hakopa is looking to wear down McGuire with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
McGuire throws a body punch but Hakopa moves out of range.
McGuire moves into range and connects with a jab.
McGuire misses with an uppercut.
McGuire scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Hakopa is rocked!
McGuire plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Hakopa swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Hakopa face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Patrick McGuire!
