The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Clemens has Khali up against the cage in a clinch.

Khali tries to free his leg and advance position but Clemens is retaining full guard.

Clemens looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

Clemens is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Khali.

I really don't envy Clemens right now.
Clemens trying to control the action but Khali just sinks the hooks in.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

What can Clemens do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

It looks like Khali might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Khali keeps control of the position as Clemens tries to break free.

Clemens is trying to roll into a better position but Khali has get a rear naked choke and Clemens is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 8:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brij Khali!
