Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikola Korent!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korent tries a head kick but it misses.
Keller went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Korent throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Korent closes the distance and pushes Keller back into the cage.
Keller is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Keller tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Korent as Keller tries to tie him up.
Keller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Korent tries to pull guard but Keller forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Korent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Korent looking to score a takedown here. Keller is defending well but Korent drives through and ends up in Keller's guard.

Keller has his feet on Korent's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Keller throws a nice looking combination but Korent bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Korent moves into range and clinches up with Keller.
Keller wants to break the clinch but can't.

Korent's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Korent throws a lazy head kick
and Keller counters with a left and a right that stings Korent.

Korent clinches up with Keller and pushes him back against the cage.

Korent lands a takedown into guard.
Korent sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Keller's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Keller is looking to escape.

Keller won't allow Korent to pass to mount.
Korent performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Keller wants to improve his position but Korent is controlling well.
Keller is staying active underneath Korent, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Korent is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Korent is trying to control the action in half guard but Keller is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Keller moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Korent controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Korent looking to sit in guard and control but Keller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Keller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Willian Keller will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Korent throws a series of punches but Keller moves out of range.
Keller throws a big counter combination but Korent scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Korent shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Keller sprawls well. Keller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Korent gets slowly back to his feet.
Keller tries to clinch but Korent moves out of range.
Korent throws a right and a left that both miss.

Keller gets caught napping as Korent dives in and scores a takedown. Keller manages to retain guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Korent is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Nikola Korent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keller tries to clinch up.

Korent looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Keller!

Korent swings around for an armbar but Keller sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Korent's guard.

Keller lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Keller distracts Korent with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Korent looking for a guillotine here but Keller defends easily.
Korent utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Keller drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Korent manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Keller has Korent in his guard.

Keller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Keller has a closed guard, preventing Korent from standing up.
Korent controls from within his opponent's guard.
Keller tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nikola Korent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Korent jumps guard and drags Keller to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Keller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
