Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walloping Willy Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mega Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace comes to the cage accompanied by Flower Of Scotland. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace throws an off balance right hand
and Wallace takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Wallace is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Kalashnikov MMA Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pope is persistently looking for the submission but Wallace is defending it well.

Pope wants to control the position but Wallace frees himself and scrambles - Pope manages to regain control in side control.
Pope wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Wallace lands a big head kick that sends Pope tumbling to the mat! Wallace takes a step backwards and waves Pope back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pope appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Good leg kick by Wallace there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

It looks like Walloping Willy Wallace has been cut.
Wallace throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Despite the aggression on Pope's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Pope throws a nice inside leg kick.
Pope dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wallace. That did some damage!
Pope uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wallace.

and Pope counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wallace's knee momentarily.

Pope trying to control the position but instead, Wallace has worked for underhooks and has pushed Pope into the cage.
