Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamaal Griffith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shadow Warrior !
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warrior looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Griffith!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Warrior throws an elbow but Griffith slips to the side and avoids it well.
Griffith really is a fat lump.
Griffith tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
A lull in the action here.
Griffith is trying to get back to half guard.
Warrior has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Warrior throws a strike aimed at the side of Griffith's head but Griffith avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warrior has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Griffith!

Warrior takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Warrior stands up from mount. Strange move.

Griffith is trying to break the clinch but Warrior is controlling him.

Warrior wants the takedown. Griffith is fighting it off but Warrior persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Griffith's guard against the cage.

Warrior gets to his feet. Griffith looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Warrior feints and as Griffith raises his hands in defense, Warrior changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warrior in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Warrior trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Warrior is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Griffith working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Warrior has passed into half guard!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Warrior in particular looking to stall.

Griffith tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Well, if Warrior is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Warrior is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Griffith with the active half guard here but Warrior passes nicely into side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Warrior has closed the distance and engaged Griffith in a clinch.
Griffith is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Warrior has hold of one of Griffith's legs. Griffith is fighting the takedown attempt but Warrior gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Griffith might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warrior got a little sloppy there for a moment and Griffith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Warrior has managed to get both his arms back between Griffith's legs - danger averted.

Warrior gets to his feet - Griffith follows without any prompting.

Warrior closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Griffith to the mat! Griffith manages to get full guard.
Griffith is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Griffith can't keep his opponent in guard - Warrior advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Warrior tries to pass to full mount but Griffith defends it.

Warrior decides to stand and escape the position.

Warrior throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Warrior fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Griffith, pushing him back against the cage.

Warrior has picked Griffith up - he's going for a ride! Warrior dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Warrior thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Griffith's head.
Warrior with the ground and pound but Griffith uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Griffith throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Warrior has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Warrior slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Let's hope that Warrior has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Warrior is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Griffith is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Griffith has escaped and now he's on top!

Warrior looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Shadow Warrior showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Warrior tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Warrior has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Warrior tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

You can see the frustration on Griffith's face as Warrior controls the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Warrior has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Warrior sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Warrior misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Griffith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Warrior on the ground.

Warrior with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Warrior unloads with some shots from mount but Griffith bucks and avoids them well.

And that's the end of the fight!
Shadow Warrior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Warrior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
