Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Scott Fleming and Ulf Ek. Chooooooooon! I think Fleming might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to T.N.T.. Ulf Ek told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Ulf Ek!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.

Fleming darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fleming is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Fleming wants to pass the guard but Ek is defending well.
Fleming is keen to just control but Ek is a slippery customer.
Fleming looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ek wants to improve his position but Fleming is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ek holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Fleming is looking to take a break and control but Ek is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fleming is stalling in the full guard.
Fleming wants to control from the top but Ek keeps moving.
Ek is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fleming might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ek is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fleming's coaches at Blackstar Striking Academy have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Fleming regains full guard. Nicely done.
Fleming is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ek tries to free his leg and advance position but Fleming is retaining full guard.

Fleming is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Ek frees his head nicely. Oh but Fleming has switched to an armbar! Ek is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
