The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balnowski clinches up against the ropes.

Balnowski wants to take the fight to the mat but Tavau manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Balnowski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tavau just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Siva Tavau has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacek Balnowski.

Tavau tightens his grip and picks Balnowski up, before dumping him to the ground. Balnowski manages to land in guard.
Balnowski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tavau is controlling him.
