Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Da Nero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Da Nero's choice of entrance music: My Top 10 Moments. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Da Nero!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid throws a big shot that misses.
Da Nero wants to counter the offense by Kid and move into the clinch position.
Da Nero fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kid stuffs the takedown attempt from Da Nero. Da Nero gets slowly back to his feet.
Da Nero swats away the attempt to clinch by Kid.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kid rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Da Nero moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Da Nero dives in and grabs Kid's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kid pushes down on Da Nero's head and hops out.
Kid scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kid controls the position from side control.
Kid is working to tighten his grip on Da Nero's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Da Nero has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kid is really squeezing tight and eventually Da Nero passes out! Kid breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Billy Kid!
Robert Da Nero spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll need to train harder to not disappoint you next time '.
