Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Reggie Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vagi Kleen!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kleen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Robertson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kleen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kleen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kleen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kleen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kleen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Robertson closes the distance and clinches.
Robertson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Robertson throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kleen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Kleen working hard to break the clinch.
Kleen tries to break free but Robertson pushes him back against the cage.
Robertson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kleen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Robertson tries a body shot but Kleen blocks it.
Robertson is pushing Kleen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kleen is looking to break free of the clinch but Robertson has double underhooks.

Kleen is fighting off a takedown attempt but Robertson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kleen to the mat. Kleen regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kleen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kleen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Robertson is one step ahead there.
Kleen wants to stand and escape but Robertson is having none of it.
Robertson wants to control from the top but Kleen keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kleen is trying to control the position but Robertson postures up.

Kleen has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Kleen cracks Robertson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Robertson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kleen finish him?

It looks like Reggie Robertson has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Kleen engages and cracks Robertson with a massive lead left hook - Robertson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Kleen is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vagi Kleen!
After the fight, Vagi Kleen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
