Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Remo McCllum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pave Pommi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCllum looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

McCllum manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pommi on his heels. He'll look to pass Pommi's guard now, I'm sure.
Pommi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McCllum controls the pace.
McCllum wants to control from the top but Pommi keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pommi controls McCllum momentarily but McCllum frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pommi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McCllum is aware though and is defending well.

McCllum shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pommi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
McCllum will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McCllum shoots in looking for a takedown. Pommi tries to sprawl out of it but McCllum keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pommi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

McCllum closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Remo McCllum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McCllum fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Pommi to the ground. McCllum is now in Pommi's guard.
