Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mansour Barnaoui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olivier Levasseur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mansour Barnaoui could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Olivier Levasseur's chin.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnaoui feints a jab promting Levasseur to slip. Barnaoui then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Levasseur slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A nice combination there by Barnaoui.
Mansour Barnaoui seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barnaoui lands a nice hook to Levasseur's body. Levasseur takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Levasseur shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barnaoui but Barnaoui pushes him off and we're back to square one.

It looks like Olivier Levasseur has been cut.
Levasseur shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barnaoui napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Levasseur sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Barnaoui is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Barnaoui tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Levasseur wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Barnaoui is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Levasseur is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Barnaoui is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Shit House-(12 coaches, all double elites) , so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Levasseur tries to score with some ground and pound. Barnaoui controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
My spies in Hybrid Fighting Academy inform me that Levasseur has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

That was a close round but I would say that Mansour Barnaoui will probably get the nod.

Levasseur is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Levasseur hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
