The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Takasugi defends well and Thomas ends up having to push Takasugi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Thomas darts in looking for a takedown but Takasugi gets double underhooks and turns Thomas into the cage.

Thomas turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Takasugi off and cradles Thomas's limp body as Takasugi celebrates with his corner.
