Leopoldo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Carmina Burana - Carl Orff. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Grossman is defended easily by Leopoldo.
Grossman has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Leopoldo stuns Grossman with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Leopoldo tries to bum rush Grossman with a series of wild strikes but Grossman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Leopoldo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Grossman quickly recovers to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leopoldo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Leopoldo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Leopoldo is looking to advance position but Grossman won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leopoldo slips a nice elbow through Grossman's hands, connecting with Grossman's forehead.

Grossman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
