PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Puchacki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Test One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puchacki comes to the cage accompanied by Klatka. Test One told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adrian Puchacki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Test One!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puchacki fails in his attempt to clinch.
Puchacki moves in looking to clinch but One pushes him off.
One lands a head shot.
One stuns Puchacki with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Puchacki is looking to clinch but One is avoiding it.
Puchacki wants to clinch up but One keeps it at a distance.
One cracks Puchacki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Adrian Puchacki has been cut.
One has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Puchacki closes the distance and clinches.
One lands with a right to the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Puchacki.
One is stalling here.
One lands a left hand that snaps the head of Puchacki backwards.
One is trying to break the clinch but Puchacki has him pressed against the cage.
Puchacki looking to slow down the pace here.
Puchacki fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Puchacki creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
One blocks an elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Puchacki blocks a body shot from One.
One wants to break the clinch but can't.
One works on Puchacki's body with a couple of short punches.

Puchacki breaks from the clinch.
One connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Puchacki momentarily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Puchacki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Test One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puchacki tries to move into range but One moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
One scores with a shot to the body.
Puchacki is breathing heavily.
Puchacki takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Puchacki switches off momentarily and One cracks him with a monster right hand! Puchacki topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as One dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by One!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Test One!
Test One spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
