Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jada Mbaa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Diego Estrada!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estrada bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mbaa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Mbaa has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mbaa tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Mbaa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Estrada's efforts to push away.
Mbaa tries a body shot but Estrada blocks it.
Estrada is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Estrada manages to break the clinch.
Estrada wants to clinch.
Estrada scores to the head and body with a nice combination!


It looks like Jada Mbaa has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mbaa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Diego Estrada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Estrada's corner calls for a 1-2. Estrada obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mbaa. Estrada does a little dance to reset his feet.

Estrada gets tackled into the cage by Mbaa. Mbaa maintains the clinch.
Estrada is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Mbaa manages to break the clinch.
Mbaa pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Estrada ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Estrada listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Estrada fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mbaa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mbaa throws a wild hook but Estrada just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Mbaa gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Estrada raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Estrada!
Diego Estrada was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
