Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turk Turkleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Williams!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Turk Turkleton!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turkleton darts in looking for a takedown but Williams gets double underhooks and turns Turkleton into the cage.
Williams throws a quick counter head kick but Turkleton was just out of range.
Turkleton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Williams sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Turkleton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Williams to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Williams postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Turkleton seems keen to control Williams's posture.
Williams trying to control but Turkleton is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Williams's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Turkleton preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams throws a big elbow that misses.

Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Turkleton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Turkleton can't keep his opponent in guard - Williams advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Williams lands a nice short elbow.
Turkleton trying to control here.

Williams is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Williams thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Williams lands a nice short elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Williams connects with a nice short shot to Turkleton's temple.
Turkleton looks winded!

Williams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Williams is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Williams is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Williams looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Williams trying to control from half guard but Turkleton is working away.
Turkleton is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.
Turkleton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Turkleton blocking the ground and pound attempt from Williams.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Williams throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Turkleton wants to control but Williams is keeping busy.
Williams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Turkleton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Turkleton has hold of Williams's hands but Williams slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Williams not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Turkleton is looking for a sweep. Williams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Williams is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Williams looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Turkleton is looking to control Williams's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Turkleton avoid being mounted?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Turkleton tries to clinch there but Williams circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Williams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turkleton but Turkleton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Williams seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Turkleton defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Williams.

Turkleton has closed the distance and engaged Williams in a clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Turkleton is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Williams gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Turkleton looking to stall.
Williams goes for a takedown attempt but Turkleton pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Williams.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Williams tries for a takedown but Turkleton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Williams working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Matt Williams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Williams works his foot free and advances to mount.
Turkleton is working to get back to half guard.
Williams scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Turkleton is trying to escape the mount.
Williams is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Turkleton can do to turn this around?
Williams cracks Turkleton with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Turkleton is looking to improve his position but Williams isn't that keen on the idea.

Williams postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Turkleton looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turkleton keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Williams looking to secure an arm triangle but Turkleton defends it well.
Williams is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Williams with a couple of short strikes.
Williams softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Turkleton is out cold! Williams jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Williams!
