Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Renato Ibanez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grzegorz Gorski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Renato Ibanez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Grzegorz Gorski!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Ibanez with that takedown attempt.

and Gorski makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Ibanez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gorski on his heels. He'll look to pass Gorski's guard now, I'm sure.

Ibanez has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gorski is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gorski wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ibanez is now in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ibanez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gorski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ibanez, into his guard.

Ibanez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gorski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's time! Ibanez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Ibanez shoots in looking for a takedown. Gorski tries to sprawl out of it but Ibanez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gorski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Renato Ibanez.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ibanez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
