Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lou Nahtic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Taphorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nahtic comes to the cage accompanied by Sleeping My Day Away. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lou Nahtic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Taphorn!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nahtic gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Taphorn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nahtic to score with a decent uppercut.

Nahtic uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Taphorn.
Nahtic pivots, looking for a leg kick but Taphorn is out of range and Nahtic settles back down.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Taphorn.

Taphorn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Taphorn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
