Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hyury Freire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Whipple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freire's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Darude - Sandstorm. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whipple blocks a low kick nicely.

Whipple shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Whipple prevents Freire from getting back to his feet.
Freire knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Whipple on the ground.
Whipple sitting in guard here, content to control.

Whipple has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Freire looking to hit a scissor sweep but Whipple is one step ahead there.

Whipple controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Freire wants to stand and escape but Whipple is having none of it.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Whipple's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Whipple seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Whipple is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Freire is rocked!
Whipple connects with a couple of short punches.
Oh Freire is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Freire is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Whipple dives into side control.
Whipple scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Freire is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Whipple can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
