Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Great Gonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Angstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Great Gonzo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Great Gonzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Angstrom!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angstrom tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gonzo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Angstrom has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gonzo is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gonzo takes one to the chin there.
Angstrom drives through and clinches with Gonzo against the cage.
Angstrom lands with a right to the head.
A nice left hand lands by Gonzo.
Angstrom lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Nice body punch from Gonzo - that landed with a thud.
Gonzo tries a body shot but Angstrom blocks it.
Gonzo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Angstrom is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gonzo to the mat. Gonzo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Gonzo really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Gonzo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Angstrom controls the pace.
Angstrom pushing down on Gonzo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Angstrom is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gonzo defends it well.

Gonzo is trying to escape back to his feet but Angstrom uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Angstrom controls the position.
Angstrom cracks Gonzo with a big elbow.
Angstrom goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gonzo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Angstrom but great work by Gonzo.
Angstrom gets back to half guard.
Gonzo stands up and beckons Angstrom to join him on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gonzo cracks the inside of Angstrom's front leg.
Gonzo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Angstrom throws a hook to the side of Gonzo's head but Gonzo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Angstrom gets a double leg takedown into Gonzo's guard.
Angstrom throws an elbow that misses. Gonzo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Angstrom's guard. Nice move by Gonzo!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Angstrom wants to sweep but no luck.
Angstrom is controlling Gonzo's posture.
Angstrom escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gonzo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Angstrom is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Angstrom looking for a guillotine here but Gonzo defends easily.
Gonzo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Angstrom looking for a triangle here. Gonzo is fighting it but it looks tight! Angstrom pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gonzo is tapping out - this one is all over!
