The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Griffin is pressed up against the cage. Machado has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Griffin down to the mat. Griffin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tito Griffin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Griffin goes for a small jab and connects. Now Griffin goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Machado stumbles back but Griffin runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Machado to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Machado will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
